Food, glorious food!

We have a confession to make over at The Manse on Marsh. We are hardcore food junkies. We loooooooove food. It’s the fuel that keeps our bodies moving, and we’re lucky enough at The Manse not to have to sacrifice a bit of delicious while we eat healthy courtesy of Manse executive chef Bernard Livingston. Who is this man who creates exceptional menus and an amazing array of choices for our residents?

Chef Bernard comes to The Manse on Marsh after spending time in the kitchens of The Four Seasons Hotel, and the Heritage Hotel at Killenard. Chef Bernard started a catering company in 2010, Cuisine Extraordinaire, in which he caters private events for Central Coast residents.

Chef Bernard’s favorite word is “YES.” He’s a master of desserts, and wine is optional with resident meals. In GG’s Bistro, Chef Bernard offers a café-style dining experience under the Atrium skylights. Salads, sandwiches, and daily soup selections are offered beginning at noon, and residents can even order room-service to their residence.

In March, the greater SLO business community enjoyed a taste of what our residents have become accustomed to morning, noon, and night, when The Manse on Marsh hosted a Chamber of Commerce mixer. The turnout was incredible! We love opening our doors to the community.

In fact, you don’t need to wait until the next event to visit us. Book a tour of The Manse on Marsh, or if you need a longer getaway, The Manse on Marsh is available for short vacation stays. Did we mention that includes Chef Bernard’s tasty creations?

Finally, one of the best ways to keep up with all the happenings at The Manse is by subscribing to our monthly newsletter. You can read the recently released April issue right here!

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have some, ahem, food tasting to do…
