The Manse on Marsh wants to “get personal,” in 2016. What does this mean? Well for us here at The Manse, that means engaging with staff and residents on our website, through social media, and of course through one on one interactions with our residents and their families.
The Manse is dedicated to providing care that is above and beyond the normal expectations of, “the old folks home.” We want our residents to feel at home, taken care of by a close network of caregivers and staff that are friendly, personable and highly trained.
Getting to know you, getting to know all about you
“There was a time not that long ago, when ‘personal’ was not considered ‘professional,’” writes Susan Saldibar in her recent article published with the Senior Housing Forum titled, “Can We Get Personal?”
“Those were the days when the most personal a company would get would be to add the marital status and favorite hobbies to the end of their corporate bios… Today the tables have turned.”
What’s behind the shift? “Certainly social media, driven by advances in digital technology are providing much of the fuel,” writes Saldibar. “We are also seeing a generational shift,” she explained.
